“Area 6th graders were treated to a field trip on the Ridgewalk and Run 2 mile trail today, learning about local flora and fauna as well as oil production in our area, maple production and rock formations in the Allegany plateau. The annual event takes place every year the week before Ridgewalk and is a great opportunity for our area youth to enjoy our local wilderness and learn about our area.
As a reminder, online registration for the Ridgewalk is now closed but participants can sign up day of the event at the Wellsville High School. Please note, the 5K event is capped and cannot take any more runners! For more information on check in times and available events, visit ridgewalk.com
