All roads in Allegany County will again lead to Wellsville, NY for the 11th Annual Ancient Order of Hibernians’ “Park in the Park” Car, Truck, Tractor, Cycle and Army Vehicle Show on September 12, 2026 FROM 10 AM TO 3 PM in Wellsville’s Island Park-stop down to see what unique rides are in Island park and to see what past award winning cars and trucks will again be there. Will Don Skinner from Belmont bring his Champion Blue Coupe Roadster or perhaps he will have new car to introduce to the area? The only way to find out is to come not Island Park on September 12th from 10 am to 3 pm in Wellsville, NY!


The Allegany County Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Event Team has lined up 30 Trophies this year which again, are supported by our local AOH Car Show sponsors including Mark Bokman and his Bokman of Wellsville Chevrolet & GMC Truck dealership Team who has been the Main Sponsor of our AOH Car Show from the start of this event and provides great support. Jeff Ryan and the Ryan CHG Insurance Agency in Wellsville, NY are another major Car Show Event Sponsor as are Mike Miller and Jim Knapp at Wellsville’s ALCO Federal Credit Union Team. Area Master Mechanic and Car Buffs Joe and Bonnie Collins at Collins Automotive as well as Shorts Propane & Oil, Shorts Deli, Mike Lindsay of Lindsay’s Plumbing & Heating, Shane Dunbar of Dunbar Performance, Olney Foust Funeral Homes, Chris Root at Root Water Well Specialists, Perks Auto Care, Millenium Construction and the Old Mill Inn provide our AOH Division with great support for this event. Our great sponsor list also includes Walker Metal Smiths Of Andover, Shane Vogel at Pizza King and the Stillwater Grill, The Texas Hot, Aiken Apartments and many other local businesses that make Allegany County a great place to live, work and shop. The local AOH Division again wants to thank Town Supervisor Patricia Graves of the Wellsville, NY Town Board for allowing us to have this Car Show in the beautiful Island Park Venue to showcase the classic cars and trucks in the beauty of Wellsville and the Allegany Wilds! This years car show again expects to draw classic cars from all over Western and Central New York as well as Pennsylvannia as a major regional car show event.
Food lovers should again be happy as the local AOH Divisions again lined up several fan favorite local food and beverage trucks including Thane Graves at theThe Dog Doctors, SheBrews/Holy Cakes, Napoli Pizza of Wellsville, NY and Out of the Box Mobile Mini Deli of Belmont, NY who all will al be available early to late to serve hungry and thirsty show participants and spectators throughout the day. There will be a 50/50 raffle that will be drawn right before the Trophies are awarded at approximately 2:30 pm Saturday September 12th by President John Dean and Event Co-Chair and AOH Vice President Matthew Cannon.
The Roger Gee Memorial Trophy will start the awards ceremony and this custom Trophy is in Honor of the late Custom Express Car Club Member Roger Gee has been graciously sponsored every year by AOH member Tim Colligan, his wife Sue and their family.
The AOH Division also wants to thank Kay McCullough who has graciously provided the event insurance for this years show in memory of her late husband and Charter AOH member Mike McCullough who has been a mainstay ay all AOH fundraising events the past 13 years. Thank you Kay!


Before the car show awards, there will also be again the popular engine blow up contest sponsored by Rich Leitzell and Leitzell’s Repair Shop in Wellsville. There will also again be the loudest exhaust contest to see who has the loudest ride in the Park measured by a decibel meter. During the show local craftsman including Wellsville’s fabric wizard Dana Flamini of Dana Lyn Designs will have vendor tables near the food truck area to sell and showcase their creations and wares for all attendees.
Event Co-Chairman Brian Cannon emphasized “that our AOH Car show will happen rain or shine and the Island Park Venue provides one of the best Venues to attend and participate in a car show in the State! It is truly a regional family friendly event in the middle of Wellsville, NY. Our AOH September Car Show as well as the June AOH Irish Road Bowling Classic in Andover are the 2 main fundraisers for the local our Ancient order of Hibernian Division to donate to local charities and organizations”. The profits from these events are used to support donations to local charities in Allegany County including the Hart Comfort House of Allegany County, Catholic Charities Joyce Family Food Pantry in Wellsville (Which serves over 2250 local individuals facing food challenges)as well as food pantries in Cuba, Fillmore, Alfred and the Salvation Army Food Pantry. In addition, the local AOH Division supports the Wellsville Little League, Andover Wetlands’ Annual Fishing Derby, Allegany County District #4 Fireman as well as the Shane Colligan Park in Wellsville and many individual donations to needy families..

The local Allegany County AOH Division has provided several Allegany County college Bound High School graduates with $500 scholarships since 2022 and we hope to expand our support to more local charities and local worthy causes in Allegany County in the future.
This year the cost to enter your Car, Truck or Classic ride is $15. All spectators, car/truck/tractor buffs and Foodies always have free entry to this event with free parking near the little league field and Lagoon area, so come out for great family day in the heart of Wellsville, NY!
