Giant congratulates William “Bill” Perham, Retirement Party this Friday 3-5 pm at the Wellsville VFW

By Andrew Harris

Let’s be honest, they don’t make ’em like Bill Perham anymore.  Very few people can brag about four decades of service to one business, one community, and “very rarely miss a shift,” according to his co-workers.  Perham’s four decades come to a close as the Giant Food Mart family salute his long and respectable careers and wish him a wonderful retirement.

Bill has managed every part of the grocery store over his career, he’s watched major changes to the industry, the products, and the technology.

Store Manager Jaeson Shaner has planned a special happy hour toast to Bill this Friday August 7th at the Wellsville VFW.  Stop by anytime between 3pm and 5pm to wish Bill well and toast to his retirement.  In honor of Bill’s service, the first drink will be free courtesy of Shaner who said that some snacks and pizza will be available for bar snacking.

Shaner said that the party is well deserved:

“Bill showed up everyday for forty years to keep this store running, feeding families.  This is a well deserved retirement and we wish Bill the best.”

Cheers to Bill for on his next chapter!
