The Allegany County Board of Elections is seeking individuals to serve as Election Inspectors. Join our team and help ensure fair and efficient elections in Allegany County!
Requirements
- Must be a registered voter in Allegany County.
- Must become a county employee.
- Must be willing and able to travel within Allegany County.
Compensation
- Paid position
- $16.00 per hour
- W-2 issued at the end of the year
- Mileage reimbursement at the county-approved rate if assigned to work outside your home election district
Election Day Schedule
- Standard shift: 5:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
- Unable to work the full day? You may share the shift with a family member or friend at the same polling location.
Training Information
- Pre-registration is required to attend training.
- Training Date: September 12
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
