Washington, D.C.—May 22nd… Congressman Nick Langworthy today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a combined $697,300 in federal funding to support critical infrastructure improvements at airports in Chautauqua and Allegany Counties.

The awards include:

  • $237,500 for the County of Chautauqua to fund the final phase of a project reconstructing three existing airport access gates at the Dunkirk Airport that have reached the end of their useful lives.

“Regional airports are vital economic assets that support local businesses, emergency services, tourism, workforce development, and economic growth,” said Congressman Langworthy. “This investment will help modernize our critical infrastructure, improve airport operations, and ensure these facilities continue serving our communities for years to come.
