A pride of Hornell NY, Bill Pullman was the youngest of a large family growing up in the Maple City who went on to international, even intergalactic fame on the big screen. His catalog is vast, ranging from comedy cult classic “Spaceballs,” to the recent hit TV series “The Sinner,” on the USA Network. Pullman is best known for his epic role in the film “Independence Day,” playing the role of US President Thomas J. Whitmore, who saves the planet from alien attack.

Pullman often visits his old stomping grounds and Alfred University where he holds an Honorary Doctorate and sits on the university Board of Trustees.

After a few appearances on campus, meeting with students and faculty, Pullman sat down for an interview about life, acting, family, and current events.
