From the David A. Howe Public Library,

In honor of National Poetry Month, the library will be hosting its 4th annual poetry slam. And, we need the community’s help to celebrate. We are asking poets in the community to register to read one of their poems to attendees. In turn, attendees will vote for their favorites via a secret ballot.  Prizes will be awarded for the first, second, and third place winners! All skill levels are welcome. And, anyone is welcome, and encouraged, to come show their support!

The Annual Poetry Slam will take place April 22nd at 5:30 pm in the library’s Monday Club Room. It is free and open to everyone. Registration is required for those who would like to read one of their poems for the contest. To resister, stop by the front desk, call (585-593-3410), or email (wellsville@stls.org).
