Houghton Academy announces the 5th annual Chandler Sackett Memorial 5K on April 25th at Houghton University, sign up today!

April 25th at 11am at the Houghton University Field of Dreams. This 5K/1 mile fun walk is to celebrate the life of Chandler and to bring awareness to the importance of mental health in our community.
Chandler was a beloved student at the Academy displaying a genuine kindness to everyone. He was also a diligent student and a friendly person who always had time for a conversation. Chandler was also a special part of his entire family from generation to generation.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a day of community and reflection by participating in this 5k followed by a free cookout and lawn games for all ages. Participation is free but we will take donations and if you would like a t-shirt for the event we are asking for a $20 donation. All registrations for a t-shirt need to be completed on the website below and received by April 17th. All proceeds will go towards the Chandler Sackett Memorial Scholarship Fund.
