The public is encouraged to participate in democracy at its roots by attending a live town hall forum. In the spirit of improving dialog across party lines Good Neighbors Getting it Done in Western New York has been conducting a series of Bipartisan Town Halls across Congressional District 23. Teaming up with Worth Fighting For, Cuba! to bring the discussion to the heart of the Southern Tier.

Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at  the Palmer Opera House, 12 W. Main St. Cuba, NY at 6:30 pm, challengers for New York’s 23rd District Congressional seat, Republican James King and Democrat Aaron Gies will meet with the public to discuss the representation of our district in Congress and alternatives for NY-23. Turning down the rhetoric to demonstrate how our government should function, King and Gies will listen not just to the audience members, but to each other on how Congress can and should improve our lives in Western New York.

Since in office, our current Congressional Representative Langworthy has only held  Telephone Town Halls where he is unable to have the benefit of in person feedback, not just from the questioner but from all the other constituents in the room.

The Cuba in person Town Hall, is the 8th in the series across the district. Both Republican and Democratic challengers will answer questions from the audience, and listen to their concerns.

Registration, candidate greeting and question submission starts at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Questions and answers begin at 7pm.

Mr. Langworthy is invited to attend all town halls.
