WELLSVILLE, NY (MARCH 2026) – The YMCA is more than just a gym, its a place where members gain life long friendships, children learn how to stay safe in the pool, where seniors can find connection, young people can have a safe space after school, and families can come together while getting healthy. We’re able to continue this work thanks to our thousands of donors across the areas that we serve.

Every March the YMCA kicks off our Annual Campaign to bring much needed support to our myriad of programs, and allows us to bring those programs to our members at an affordable rate. Donations allow us to recruit more valuable staff, keep programs open to more youth & community members, and keep a core value of the YMCA alive through our scholarship program. Ensuring that no one is turned away due to their inability to pay, and all can enjoy a healthy life in mind, body, & spirit.

The Annual Campaign provides critical funding that ensures access to programs and services that strengthen bodies, minds, and spirits. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteer campaigners are hoping to raise $100,000 through this year’s campaign. Last year, thanks to donors we were able to provide more children with Swim Lessons, add new workout classes to our schedule, and so much more!

Wellsville Executive Director Tyler Green had this to say about the importance of the Annual Campaign to the Y and the members we serve. “This past year has been a reminder that great things can be accomplished when many hands come together. Wellsville proves time and time again the genuine generosity it has for their neighbors. I am incredibly proud of the new improvements we have made with our wellness center, the expansion of our high-quality licensed child care programs, and our community service initiatives. I look forward to doubling down, making 2026 our most impactful year yet. These dreams and aspirations wouldn’t be possible without the continued support from everyone.”

“In Wellsville, the YMCA supports families at every stage of life. Our Early Learning Centers and School Age programs provide a strong foundation for children, while our wellness programs help individuals and families stay healthy and connected. Through our annual campaign, we’re able to continue investing in programs that strengthen the Wellsville community,” said Vice President of Operations & Risk Management Taylor Lubi

The generosity helps ensure that all individuals and families in our community have the opportunity to grow, thrive, and feel a true sense of belonging. Every donation – no matter the size – makes a difference. If you would like to donate please fill out the form below or contact your local YMCA for more information.
