Reminder: New York State’s annual Burn Ban is in effect March 16 through May 14, 2026.

Open burning of brush, leaves, and debris is prohibited during this time to help prevent wildfires during the dry spring season.

Small campfires and cooking fires are still allowed, but should never be left unattended.

Please help protect our communities and first responders by following the burn ban.
