Trails will expand in Keating and Austin townships

Great news for ATV and UTV enthusiasts in our region! The Potter County ATV UTV Club was awarded a grant of $205,100 for the acquisition of land in Keating Township, Potter County, to support expansion of the Northcentral Regional ATV Trail system.
The project will close a major trail gap, thereby improving rider safety, and expand recreational access for both motorized and non-motorized users. This strategic connection in the regional trail network will also allow for future expansion into the borough of Austin.
The funding is provided by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources through the ATV Management Restricted Account, Snowmobile Management Restricted Account, and the Pennsylvania Recreational Trails Program. The project is one of four awarded funding earlier this week.
