Monster arrested by Bath NY Police after trying to sell his child for drugs

The child was not harmed and Deven Miller is held without bail

From the Bath Police Department,

On 01/09/2026 at approximately 6:22 PM, members of the Village of Bath Police Department located and arrested Deven L. Miller, age 31, of Bath, on multiple outstanding charges.

Miller’s arrest is the result of a lengthy investigation into a report received by the Village of Bath Police Department indicating that Miller was attempting to prostitute his 7 year old daughter in exchange for receiving methamphetamine.

Miller is charged with one count of Criminal Solicitation in the 3rd Degree, a Class E Felony, one count of Promoting Prostitution in the 1st Degree, a Class B Felony, and one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, a Class C Felony.

Miller was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment where he remains held without bail.

Throughout the investigation, it was determined that Miller does not have custody of his daughter and that his daughter was thankfully not victimized.
