Community Celebrates the Season with Festive Holiday Event at Highland Park on December 18

Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, hot cocoa, and kids activities!!

The Highland Day Services Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program and Highland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center are excited to announce a holiday celebration that promises to bring joy and cheer to residents and families alike.

On December 18th from 5 PM to 8:30 PM, attendees will enjoy an array of activities designed to spread holiday spirit and create lasting memories. Highlights of the event include horse-drawn carriage rides; guests will also be treated to complimentary hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies. Storytime sessions will feature kids making their own ornaments, and there will be opportunities to have pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Additionally, there will be a coloring contest for kids, as well as bonfires and Christmas carols.

“This event is all about bringing our community together during the festive season,” said Rachael Johnston, ADHC Director. “We’re thrilled to offer an evening of fun and connection for our residents, their families, and community members.”

This free holiday event is open to all nursing home residents and their families, members of Highland Day Services and their families, as well as members of the local community.
