A group known as 814 Predator Hunters operates a volunteer effort based in Clearfield, PA, to track child sex predators online and confront them in-person. The operatives act as decoys online, arrange a meet up, and then confront the suspected predator in shopping plazas, public parks, and other public places. The operatives video the encounter and often alert law enforcement is on standby to make an arrest. “We are a non-profit organization dedicated to exposing online child predators to the community.”

Niky and his team know the dangers and after hundreds of encounters and arrests, he was stabbed by a third party.

From 814PredHunters, who have now halted these live exposures, after the attack:

Many have asked why we choose to step away from interviews and do strict arrests, and this is a painful example of why. This work is extremely dangerous and carries real, life-threatening risks. We ask that everyone keep Niky Sal and his team in their prayers. While conducting a live exposure, he was stabbed by a violent perpetrator. So please pray for his complete healing. There is no reason for this type of violence, especially when he was in a public location. Pray that justice is served and Niky recovers fully physically and emotionally!

Niky made a statement on his social media page with a picture of himself being treated for his wounds. A GoFundMe has been started to help pay for his medical costs.

“I’m wrapped up waiting to be transfered to Erie, I have no feeling in my left arm as of now. Keep me in your prayers….I beat that preds ass thoo fr.”

Based on related social media reports from Niky’s associate Ethan Haskins, he suffered a major artery wound and is being “monitored until they’re able to perform the surgery,” in an Erie, PA hospital.

The attacker, according the the 716 Network , was apprehended and arrested:

On December 13, 2025, at 12:34 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department were dispatched to a local business for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers determined that two individuals had been involved in a physical altercation inside the business. During the incident, a third individual, identified as James Morris, age 43, stabbed one of the participants. Officers subsequently located Morris a short distance from the scene and took him into custody without incident.

The male victim sustained a large laceration to his arm and was transported to UPMC for medical treatment. He was later transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA for further treatment. Morris was charged with Assault in the First Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. Following arraignment, Morris was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

To many “Niky” is a hero, to some he is a vigilante attempting to bring justice without the authority of the badge. He has effectivly decoyed and exposed hundreds of child predators, including several times in Allegany County NY.
