The Scio Lions, Scio Library and Scio Fire Department held their annual Town Christmas Celebration on Friday with special visitors Santa and Mrs Claus. Scio celebrated their tree lighting ceremony with Santa’s help and then everyone went in the Library for cookies, Cocoa, toys and a one on one with the Clauses. The Scio Sr Class were the winners of the Tree Decorating contest and will receive $600 for their class. The attendance was great and a lot of fun was had by all.
The Scio Lions sold breakfast sandwiches and full pancake breakfast at the Scio school during their annual craft show, helping to raise money for the Sr Class.
