WELLSVILLE, NY —It didn’t take long for committee chair, Jackie Comstock, to recruit volunteers to help set up for the first Jingle & Glow light display which will debut during the Hometown Holiday Parade this Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 4:30.  Santa is scheduled to make this one of his first stops and it is hoped the community will come out to celebrate this event which supports the Thelma Rogers Genealogical Historical Society (TRGHS).

Volunteers of all ages showed up to help transform the Fassett GreenSpace into a festive destination that is sure to delight.  “It was a lot of hard work and took longer than we anticipated, but the volunteers hung in there and we got it completed” said Jackie.  “Community gatherings are so important for a town like Wellsville.  They build social connections, strengthen our local businesses and preserve our cultural heritage.  We will be celebrating Wellsville’s history as well as creating new history and traditions”.

It is the hope of the committee that families will stop by Jingle & Glow to celebrate together with Santa at 4:30, and then continue down the parade route, ending the day with the Chamber of Commerce’s firework display scheduled for 6:30 p.m. near the library.  On their way home, we hope people will drive by Jingle & Glow in its full nighttime glory which will be lit every day from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through January 4, 2026.
