Pennsylvania man in Allegany County Jail on $1 million dollars bail

A Pennsylvania man is in the Allegany County Jail on $1 million bail, part cash and bond following an incident May 12th in the Town of Rushford. 

Amity-based State Police Monday afternoon arrested 21-year-old Anthony J. Gorse of Derrick City. He was charged with five serious felonies to include aggravated cruelty to animals, residential burglary with an explosive or deadly weapon, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree Grand Larceny and first-degree criminal contempt as a physical menace.

The County Jail said in addition to the million-dollar amount, other bail conditions included $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond. State Police Troop A Public Information Officer James O’Callaghan was not immediately available to provide further details. The County Jail said Gorse is due back in court June 6th
