Jones Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Krishna Ramavath, MD, MRCOG, FACOG, FICOG to the Jones Memorial Women’s & Children’s Services. She will begin seeing patients starting in November, primarily at the Hornell location but will have availability in Wellsville as she augments the team there.

Dr. Ramavath received her medical training at the Andhra Medical College of India receiving her MBBS and MD. She went on to do a fellowship in Gynecological Oncology at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Center Institute and Research Center. She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, UK.

Dr. Ramavath is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the female reproductive system. Specializing in gynecological oncology and advanced endoscopic procedures, with proficiency in both elective and emergency obstetric surgeries. Her extensive international experience includes residency training at a leading university hospital in the United States, where she developed strong clinical skills in both acute and long-term patient care.

Dr. Ramavath is a tenured faculty member and a dedicated academician with experience mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical professionals, supporting clinical research, and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Recognized with prestigious awards, including the Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), International Fellowship Award and Best Oral Presentation at the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) Biennial Meeting, Dr. Ramavath also received the Best Doctor award in 2004 for outstanding service to the community from the Community Medical Centre in Aganampudi.
