Wellsville history lovers, the “Comstock sisters,” will speak with a light lunch to follow

On Tuesday, October 21st, the Thelma Rogers Genealogical and Historical Society’s President Jackie Comstock and Treasurer Anne Comstock will provide a presentation on historic Wellsville churches. The TRGHS owns and operates the Nathaniel Dike Museum at 118 E. Dyke Street in Wellsville.
The museum is open from May through October on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or by appointment. For more information, contact the organization at thelmargh@gmail.com.
Wellsville, founded in 1855, was named after Gardner Wells, one of its largest landowners. The town is rich in history, and its churches are an integral part of that history. Come for lunch at 12:30 and stay to hear the Comstock sisters present on the history of Wellsville churches.
There is no charge to attend, and reservations are not necessary. The event takes place at Grace United Church, located at 289 N. Main Street in Wellsville.
