Our trio of community news sites, the Wellsville – Hornell – Keuka Sun are looking for some new talent. As our network continues to grow, particularly in Steuben County, we need more good writers of all stripes and areas of interest.
Do you enjoy bringing great stories in your community to light? Perhaps you consider yourself to be the next great local food critic ? Maybe you enjoy local government and loathe the lack of media coverage ?
What about the business world around us? Between the Finger Lakes, Corning NY, and the many growing small businesses in the region; a writer would never starve for interesting topics.
Human interest pieces have always gotten lots of attention on the Sun. Do you enjoy telling stories about community servants, inspiring students, or even tragic situations ? The power of the pen can, and has changed many lives, especially the writers.
