AOH Road Bowling Event Team member Brian Cannon “invites everyone to come to Andover’s Kilbane Road where we have registration open from 10 am to 3 pm for our Annual Family Oriented Road Bowling Event with bowlers ranging in age from 6 years on up. Light intermittent rain is slated to end at about 9:30 am per the Weather Channel Forecasts and be clear the rest of the day.” Cannon also noted that “the weather should be much like a typical day in Ireland-A little rain shower, some clouds and sun and comfortable weather in the mid 60s to low 70s so bring an umbrella and have a great time Road Bowling” in the Irish Hills of Andover!

Food will be available at the Andover Rod & Gun Club starting at around 11:30 am with Irish BBQ Pitmaster Sean Haggerty. This is a family event and the local Allegany County AOH DIVISION #1 hopes to see many repeat as well as first time Irish Road Bowlers this year rain or shine! Course record holders and 6 time defending champion Mark Joyce and Shane Dunbar have confirmed that they will be defending their Mens Open title tomorrow so it should be a keenly contested road bowling event!
