Shutt, Cowburn, and Fuller receive college funding in memory of Dan Martelle

The class of 1975, in honor of their 50th Class Reunion, and in memory of their classmate, the late Dan Martelle, raised a total of $8,600. All award recipients are pursuing college degrees in fields of study that will support the education of students with disabilities. 

1975 WHS Classmates awarded a $4,300 scholarship to 2025 graduating senior, Skylar Shutt. (Pic is attached and names from l-r are: Tim Aiken, Tim Hennard, Karen Martelle, Brenda Szabo, Barbara Regan, Skylar Shutt, Madeleine Gasdik, Joanne LaForge, Sandy Skillman).

On June 2, 2025, Barbara Regan presented 2 scholarships, each worth $2,150, to two former Wellsville High School Graduates, Makenzie Cowburn, a student at Bellarmine University, and Kaylie Fuller, a student at West Virginia University.
