Cynthia Moreland Hardy, 76, of Winder, GA, passed away on June 2, 2025 at her residence. 

Born in Wellsville, NY. She was a woman of many talents, Cynthia thrived in various roles throughout her life. She was a restaurant owner, a gifted artist, and an accomplished office manager, always bringing creativity and dedication to everything she pursued. Her love for animals was a defining trait, reflecting her gentle heart and unwavering kindness. While living in New York, she attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wellsville.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. Moreland and Duaina Brownell Moreland. She worked alongside her beloved husband, Larry Grady Hardy of Winder, with whom she shared 29 wonderful years. Her legacy lives on through her daughters, Dena (Marco) Vitali of Bloomfield, NJ, and Kimberly Hadlock of Winder, GA, as well as her two cherished grandchildren and a host of extended family.

A visitation to honor Cynthia’s life will be held at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, 265 Hwy 211 NW, Winder, GA 30680, on Wednesday, June 11, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia 845 W Ridge Rd, Gainesville, Ga.
