Sheriff Cicirello honors standout Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputy

Sheriff Scott A. Cicirello recognized Deputy Chauncey Weaver as the 2024 Deputy Sheriff of the Year at the Annual Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Awards & Recognition Ceremony held on April 24th.
Deputy Weaver has been with our office since 2013 and is a person who does it all for the Sheriff’s Office. He works in the jail, he works the road, he performs fraud investigations and makes arrests for jail related and Welfare Fraud crimes. Whenever there is a need to assist with anything, he is the first to step up. He is respected amongst his co-workers and always strives to do the best job possible.
Sheriff Cicirello states “I appreciate his dedication, professionalism and the pride that he takes in his job. He is committed to the Sheriff’s Office and is always looking for ways to improve the office. I am happy to present Deputy of the Year to Deputy Chauncey Weaver.”
