Planned power outage will be for necessary system maintenance scheduled to end at 7am on Sunday May 4

ALL VILLAGE OF WELLSVILLE ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS
A village-wide power outage is scheduled during the overnight hours starting at 11:00 pm Saturday, May 3, 2025 through 7:00 am Sunday, May 4, 2025. This outage will affect ONLY VILLAGE OF WELLSVILLE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC customers. The outage is scheduled to start at 11:00 pm Saturday evening and will last up to eight (8) hours. The Village has a plan in place in order to ensure that power will be restored no later than 7:00 am, Sunday morning. The outage is necessary to perform maintenance on the switching tower that supplies the Village with electricity.
In the event there is an emergency that prevents the Village from being able to perform the work on the scheduled date, a contingency date of Saturday, May 10, 2025 to Sunday, May 11, 2025 is in place. This is the following weekend and the scheduled times would remain the same, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.
