Great news from Hornell’s new culinary destination
From Racalto’s, Follow them on Facebook
There are moments in life that feel bigger than business—moments rooted in heart, in belief, in community. Today, we get to share one of those moments with you.
If you’ve dined at Racalto’s lately, you already know: Chris Lomax’s desserts are something extraordinary. We’re not just saying that—we literally can’t keep them in stock. On a single night, we’ll go through 50 desserts in a blink. If he made 1,000 in a week, they’d be gone.
But this story isn’t just about sweets.
It’s about a person, a passion, and a dream.
Chris is the kind of talent that doesn’t come around often. His desserts aren’t just delicious—they’re soul-soothing, joy-sparking, stop-you-in-your-tracks good. He bakes with heart. With purpose. With magic. And we believe with everything in us that he deserves a bigger stage.
That’s why we are overjoyed to announce:
Desserts… by Chris Lomax – a brand new business, born right here at Racalto’s, built entirely around Chris’s talent, passion, and future.

Here’s how it works:
Starting by Memorial Day, you’ll be able to pre-order his desserts for events, birthdays, celebrations, or just because.
We’ll be adding a grab-and-go dessert fridge at Racalto’s, so you can swing by, grab the dessert of the day, and take home something truly special.
And the best part?
100% of the profit goes directly to Chris.
Racalto’s won’t charge Chris a single penny for rent, overhead, utilities—nothing. Every single dollar from pre-orders and grab-and-go sales will go straight to Chris.
After all, this is his business—and he’s earned it.
We’re simply the launchpad. Chris is the rocket.
And we cannot wait to see how high he soars.
In a world that often feels hurried and transactional, this is the kind of story you’d see on CBS Sunday Morning—the kind that reminds you how beautiful it is when people come together to lift someone up. We’ve all had someone believe in us at a turning point in life. Now, we get to be that someone for Chris.
If you’ve tasted his desserts, you already know how special he is. If you haven’t yet—trust us, you’re in for something unforgettable.
Please join us in celebrating this moment and in supporting Chris as he takes this exciting step into his own business. He’s earned every bit of this, and we’re honored to be part of the journey.
With love, pride, and deep gratitude,
Joe and Jay Huang-Racalto
