Up to $1000 awarded for “women who seek continued betterment”

Alfred Station, NY, January 31, 2025 – The Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund For Women (ACC FFW) announces the opening of its grant application period for 2025 on February 1, 2025. Grant applications will be accepted February 1 through March 15, 2025, with award notifications on or around April 30th, 2025.

Grants are awarded based on demonstration of financial need and applicant plans for how the money will be used to facilitate sustained self-sufficiency. Past grant recipients have used funding for business start-up, business development, or for continued business or professional education. The amount awarded may vary from year-to-year, based on the number of applications and funds available, up to $1,000 per grant. 

Starting February 1st, applicants may apply online, https://www.accffw.org/grants, or by emailing info@accffw.org to request an alternative application vehicle (paper application or individual interview).  

The vision of the Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women is to be a resource that will provide financial assistance and open doors for women who seek continued betterment.  The Fund for Women exists to invest in the lives of women in our communities in order to promote sustained self-sufficiency.  

About ACC-FFW:

The ACC-FFW was established in 2017 to combat poverty in the tri-county area by providing women the opportunity to seek financial assistance for long-term self-improvement, and by promoting philanthropy by and for women. The ACC FFW is a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization.  Donations to this fund are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
