A friendly contest between football fans nets thousands of food items for local pantries

Pastor Karen Borchardt forwarded me the graphic shown above highlighting the very rewarding generosity of the Church, its parishoners, and the entire community . As she alluded to in the explanation that follows, Grace United and the Wellsville Salvation Army really rose to the challenge in a very significant way.
“The Grace United Church of Wellsville NY accepted a challenge offered by churches in the Baltimore area to donate more food items to local pantries than they did. Grace United contributed 60 items to the Wellsville Salvation Army as a part of the WINNING number of 2125!
Reminder: This is the time of year when food pantries run low, so let’s continue to be faithful to tangibly share God’s love!”
Grace United and the Wellsville Salvation Army are grateful to the many that have already donated, and invited others to help out with this cause.
