The Cuba Circulating Library will be closed the week of January 6 to accommodate carpet replacement. Items due during the closure will automatically have their due dates extended to the following week.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to enhance our library for the benefit of the community.
This project is made possible through the generous support of:
- A $194,810 grant from the State Aid for Library Construction program,
- $75,000 from New York’s State and Municipal Facilities program, secured by Assemblyman George Borrello,
- $1,500 from the Allegany County Area Foundation,
- Contributions from the Cuba Library’s endowment fund, and
- Numerous donations from our generous community members.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to improve the library!
We really only have one program coming up this month. Things are a bit on hold due to all the construction. Here’s the blurb on our upcoming program:
Teens ages 13 – 18 are invited to join us to play Dungeons and Dragons with other like-minded individuals at the Cuba Library. Whether you are brand new to role playing games or a seasoned veteran, all are welcome! The group will meet Tuesdays, January 21, February 4 & 18, March 4 & 18, April 1, 15 & 29 from 6 – 8 pm at Cuba Library.
Adults (ages 19 & up), sign up to play Dungeons and Dragons as well! The group will meet Tuesdays, January 14 & 28, February 11 & 25, March 11 & 25, April 8 & 22 from 6 – 8 pm at Cuba Library.
Registration is required and space is very limited in the groups. Please let us know when you sign up if you have experience playing D&D or any other similar games. Contact the Cuba Library to sign up at cuba@stls.org or call 585-968-1668. Feel free to reach out with any questions as well.
