Miller cites a growing family responsibility but hopes to serve in the future

The Town of Wellsville board will be lacking a longstanding member after an immediate resignation. Michael Miller has submitted this letter to the town clerk earlier today:

12/10/2024 To Whom it May Concern,

Please accept my resignation from the Wellsville Town Board effective immediately. I have been honored to serve the Town of Wellsville for the last 7 and a half years. I am very confident in the Board and the employees of the Town going forward. They all work very hard to make Wellsville a great place to live, work, and visit.

When I began on the Board my daughters were 9 and 4 years old. They are now 16 and 11. I want to spend as much time with them as possible given the other responsibilities I have. I look forward to serving in some capacity again in the future. Until then, I wish only the best to everyone associated with the Town.

Sincerely,

Michael Miller
