The Wellsville Central School Board has appointed a local businessman and former school board candidate to serve until June 2025. They announced tonight:
“WELCOME to our newest school board member Shane Vogel, seen here with board president Jason Mattison. Mr. Vogel was approved by the board during tonight’s regular meeting. We are so excited that you’re part of the Wellsville Lions family!”
Vogel was chosen from a group of four candidates who were vetted by a board appointed committee.
His term will be brief before an election in May 2025 when this seat comes up for re-election. The seat held by Steve Pettinati is also on the ballot in 2025.
