LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary budget of the Town of Alma for the fiscal year beginning January 01, 2025 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, 5838 Allen St., Allentown, New York where it is available for inspection by an interested person during regular business hours.
FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given, that the Town Board of the Town of Alma will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon, at the Alma Town Hall, 5838 Allen St. Allentown at 6:00 PM on the 12th day of November 2024 and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor or against any item or items therein contained. Pursuant to Article 8, Section 109 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor – $4,404
Councilperson – $4,992 (4 @ $104.00)
Town Clerk – $12,648.00
Highway Superintendent – $51,612.00
Town Justice – $5214.00
