WELLSVILLE, NY — Bring a bag lunch and a beverage, and join fellow Democrats for our next “Lunch and Learn” program on Wed., October 16th at 12:30 p.m, 84 N Main Street in Wellsville.

Titled, “The DRC: Its Origins, Mission, and Current Focus,” we’ll learn from Ms. Hunter how the NYS Democratic Rural Conference came to be, who it represents, and how it advocates for issues important to rural New Yorkers.

Presenter Judith Hunter of Geneseo, NY, was first elected Chair of the DRC in 2019.  Since 2009 she has also chaired the Livingston County Democratic Committee.  Other political highlights include volunteering for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign in 2003-4 (present at the “Dean Scream” in Iowa); running for NYS Assembly in 2006 for the 148th district (which then included the northern half of Allegany County); servings as a 2012 delegate to the Democratic National Convention; and in 2020 was a member of the Electoral College.

For those unable to attend in person, a ZOOM option is available. Phone/text 585-610-4321 or email info@acdcny.org for details.
