The revived Cub Scouts are back for a second year !!

From Rachell Pastore, Scout leader

What a great night to kick off Whitesville’s spirit week. The Cub Scout Pack of Whitesville attended the AW Varsity Soccer home game against Fillmore. Of course still in there PJs from the school’s spirit week theme.

The k-6th Cub Scout Pack of Whitesville got a behind the since look before the game. Getting to step on the field, sit on the official players bench, asked Coach Borden a few questions, received autographs from the entire team, official warm up lap high fives before the game, cheering on the team from the sidelines during the game, and of course a visit to the concession stand.

Coach Borden said, “Seeing the excitement on the Cub Scouts faces tonight was amazing. Providing them with a chance to be inspired to be the next great soccer players for AW was heart warming. At the same time our current Varsity team got a reminder that the future players are watching and to always set a good example. “

Whitesville has not had a Cub Scout Pack or Boy Scout Troop in over 20 years. This is the Packs second year back and going strong. To join our pack, information on your local pack, or information to start your own pack please contact Rashell Pastore at rashellpastore@gmail.com
