Double-fatal car accident in Allegany County on Friday afternoon

Amity-based State Police reported on Sept. 27, 2024, at approximately 2 p.m. on County Route 5 in the town of Clarksville there was a two-vehicle collision that resulted in a double fatal.

Troopers said Dustin A. Morrison, 40 of Limestone, and Mary F. Neudeck, 70 of Portville, a passenger in the other vehicle, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The state police said their investigation determined that a 2025 GMC driven by Morrison was traveling west bound on County Route 5 and crossed into the oncoming east bound lane and struck a 2019 Dodge traveling east bound head-on.

Troopers said the 2019 Dodge was driven by Terry D. Neudeck, 72 of Portville, who was transported by Mercy Flight helicopter to the Erie County Medical Center with severe injuries. Mary F. Neudeck was the passenger in his vehicle.

Troopers said this is still an active investigation. The NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
