The Belfast Bicentennial Celebration is approaching! A full list of Belfast Bicentennial Events from August 8th through August 11th as available below. Details to register for the Variety Show, Car Show, and Parade are below. . Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to be part of Belfast’s 200th anniversary celebration. We look forward to seeing you there!

Variety Show:
The Belfast Bicentennial will begin Thursday, August 8, with the Belfast Bicentennial Variety Show, organized by Reeni McCumiskey and Kiersten Wuersig and emceed by Aran Heaney. The show begins at 6:00 PM in the Belfast Central School Auditorium and admission is free. Light refreshments will be available during intermission.
Please sign up to perform, whether your talent is dancing, juggling, singing, acting, joking, magic, or music making!. Each act should be under five minutes and family friendly. Participants are required to bring their own props, but basic sound and lighting will be provided.
All performers must attend the rehearsal on Wednesday, August 7, at 6:00 PM.

Car Show:
All are invited to the Belfast Bicentennial Classic Car Show, held in memory of Belfast native and classic car enthusiast Ron “George” Thompson, on August 9, 2024.
The event will take place at the Town Park in Belfast, NY. Registration is from 4:00 to 4:45 PM, with pre-registration available at https://bit.ly/BBCarShow. The event will feature raffle prizes, a Drivers’ Choice award, and a Farthest Traveled award. There is no fee to participate.

Parade:
Come and join us for the Belfast Bicentennial Parade on August 9th at 6:00 PM! Participants should gather at Belfast Central School by the athletic fields at 5:00 PM to line up.
The parade will travel along South, King, Chestnut, and Main Street, concluding at the Town Park. We invite everyone to enter a float or band to make this celebration truly special.Float prizes will be $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.
