Kayla Hyde is a candidate for Potter County Fair Queen!!

Kayla Hyde will be a junior this fall at Northern Potter High School. She is the sixteen year old daughter of Andy and Holly Hyde from Ulysses. Kayla states that she would like to be the next Potter County Fair Queen because since she was a young girl attending the fair, she has always admired the Fair Queen for their beauty and kindness. She aspires to be the Potter County Fair Queen to inspire young girls and demonstrate that anything is possible.

“I am passionate about advocating for agriculture and eager to use this platform to share my knowledge. Additionally, I aim to connect with my community and highlight the significance of the fair.” – Kayla

Kayla is serving as her FFA chapter’s secretary, a position she held as a sophomore. She also served as her chapter’s Student Advisor in her freshman year. Kayla participates in National Honor Society, band, student council, Spanish club, and varsity club. She has plays volleyball, basketball and softball. Kayla is part of Future First Responders Program through FFA where she is active with the local fire and ambulance company. Kayla was also a 4-H camp counselor for Northwinds 4-H Camp.

She has exhibited rabbits, beef cattle and has shown market hogs for the last six years.
