Music on the Lawn has returned to Wellsville for the summer. This beloved concert series kicked off on June 20 with the ever-popular Lucky Number. The threat of rain brought their performance inside the library’s Nancy Howe Auditorium but it was still a great show.

There are six concerts remaining in the series. Adam Stack and Anton Flint will perform on June 27, Not Norman plays on July 11, Terry Buchwald returns as Elvis on July 18, Triple Play takes to the stage on July 25, Casual Remix & Friends perform on August 1, and ZOAR will finish out the series on August 8. There is no concert scheduled for July 4 because the Music on the Lawn Committee wants community members to get out and enjoy all the community events celebrating the Fourth.

Each concert begins at 7 p.m. on the library’s front lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. In case of inclement weather, concerts will go on in the library’s auditorium.

These concerts are open to the public and completely free! However, for those who wish to support Music on the Lawn, the organizing committee sells raffle tickets at intermission for a chance to win one of two bottles of wine donated by Plaza Liquors. If you don’t want any wine, committee members can also accept cash donations.

For updates and information, please follow Music on the Lawn on Facebook. This event is hosted by the library but organized by the Music on the Lawn Committee.
