Last chance to enter our photo contest is today April 15

Images can be very powerful. Whether they are from a war zone or of a flower garden in bloom, a great picture is absolutely “worth a thousand words.” A big part of the Sun has always been our constantly changing feature photos which are prominent on our sites. These photos come to use from reader submission or we harvest them from social media, always asking permission to feature.
This month we are giving our “photogs” a chance to win some cold hard cash for great art with help from our partners at Mystic Media Dot Com. This week we will be allowing our social media followers to place votes for their favorite in three categories: Best Overall($100), Most Original($50), and Best Eclipse($50).
Entries can be submitted until midnight this Monday April 15th. Tell the photographic artist in your life to email images to WellsvilleSun@yahoo.com. We will award the winners on Saturday April 20 and publish the best of the contest on Monday April 22.
