Eldred WWII Museum to celebrate Appleby and Case retirements on April 13

Steve Appleby (Curator), and Jesse Case (Executive Director) retire from the Eldred WWII Museum, Olean, Portville residents to take over

Eldred, PA – A leadership change is underway at the Eldred WWII Museum. Longtime leaders Jesse Case and Steve Appleby are retiring and Kyle Dunn and Liz Threehouse are taking over.

Case was the executive director and Appleby was the curator and education program director. The Public is invited to the museum April 13th between 10a.m. and 6p.m. to celebrate the retirement of the two.

Threehouse and Dunn are the new executive director and curator. Threehouse, of Olean has been an adjunct professor of digital marketing at Jamestown Community College, in Olean, an adjunct professor of IMC-digital marketing at St. Bonaventure and owner of Idea Girl Co., for marketing, consulting and social media. Dunn is from Portville, N.Y.  “My father was a U.S. Airforce reservist for the majority of my childhood, and I spent a lot of time being taken to Niagara Falls Air Reserve station. It’s really because of him that I fell in love with military history, particularly in World War II aviation.” “As I grew I frequented the museum as it expanded and became what it is today. In a way me and the museum grew up together.”
