All Wellsville teams earn 1st place titles, heading to state competition in Syracuse

From WCS Odyssey of the Mind coordinators,
On Saturday, March 23rd 38 Wellsville students and their coaches braved the icy roads for a trip to Salamanca Central School for the Region 19 Odyssey of the Mind Competition. Odyssey of the Mind is an international program that promotes creativity, teamwork and problem solving. Wellsville faced competition from local area schools such as Belfast, Bolivar Richburg, Randolph, Allegany Limestone, Wakins Glen and Robert H Jackson. All 6 Wellsville OM teams (3 elementary and 3 Middle School) came home with first place ribbons! The teams will travel to the New York State Fairgrounds on April 13th in Syracuse for the state level competition.
