Dairy farmers need new electric service to resume service

From GoFundMe Fundraiser for the Greene’s,

As many of you may or may not know Friday, March 8th there was a house fire in the town of Wirt. Unfortunately, Chet Greene and his wife Donna lost everything. Their main source of income is their dairy farm which, cannot operate correctly. As of right now they have no electric to run the milk cooler and the milkers at the same time. They are currently using a generator to run the barn, but this is not a sustainable option. The Greene’s need the community’s help. As of right now they need a new electric hookup to ensure that the farm can run properly.

They received a quote for 4,000 dollars for a new electric hookup. The Greene’s need all new electric because it was damaged during the fire and is no longer operable. Any help will be appreciated. They are also in need of all the necessities. They will be staying in a camper on their property for the time being. If anyone would like to donate items, I can always take them to the Greene’s.

Let’s join as a community to help this family so they can keep their main source of income going.
