Our community is full of great artists!! We enjoy featuring their work and supporting their passion because we feel art is essential. Artists like Liz Volk color our lives and give us inspiration in a sometimes uninspiring world. Enjoy this gallery of some recent paintings by this Wellsville High School graduate
A little about Liz: “I have always loved to create. Art was my favorite class in highschool thanks to Mr Leffler and Mrs Amanda Oglesbee. Painting wasn’t always my favorite media and it wasn’t until around 2011 when I really dove into painting, first with acrylic and now watercolor. I am self taught but always looking for ways to improve.”
Liz is also a local small business owner!! Her family has owned and operated Inspire Crafts and Hobbies for several years. If you are interested in meeting her, she has her art on display at the store on Route 417, east of Wellsville.
