Allegany County Sports Hall of Fame to induct 12 new members during March 23 banquet

The Allegany County Athletic Association will host its 20th annual Sports Hall of Fame banquet at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Off Duty in Belmont with twelve honorees scheduled to be inducted.

The inductees for the 2024 class are: Ed Stackwick (Andover); Dianne Meyers Stone (Belfast); Tom Wight (Bolivar-Richburg); Aaron Ortiz (Cuba-Rushford); Bill Nolan (Fillmore); Debra Kane Warner (Friendship); Brian Edmister III (Genesee Valley); John Fitzpatrick (Hinsdale); Joel Lueders (Houghton); Tanya Tucker-Scholla (Scio); Fran Houseman (Wellsville); and Nichole Meehan (Whitesville).

A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the ceremony following at 7:00. For more information, contact the athletic office at your local school. Tickets may be purchased by contacting Doreen Martin (Scio Central School) at (585) 596-6312. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The ticket price for the banquet is $35.00. Reservations, with payment, must be received by Friday, March 15.
