Roulette, Pennsylvania man charged with child abuse, assault, corruption, and endangerment

Jacob James Tarr held in jail on $100,000 bail

A Potter County man is in jail on $100,000 cash bail after Coudersport-based State Police charged him with allegedly committing crimes against children. Troopers said they arrested Jacob James Tarr, 30, of Roulette and charged him felony first-degree statutory sexual assault, felony second-degree aggravated indecent assault involving a victim under the age of 16, felony corruption of minors, misdemeanor indecent assault involving a victim less than 16 and child endangerment.

Arraigned in District Court by Judge Robert Repard he was remanded to jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 26th. The crimes allegedly occurred on December 15th in Roulette Township.
