BISSELL, Donald Edward – Age 89 of Depew, NY died peacefully in his home on November 27, 2023.
Donald was born in Wellsville NY and was the 8th child of Merle and Margaret.
He attended school in Wellsville, NY where he met his wife to be Joyce (Simar) Bissell. After graduation joined the military and served 20 years in the Air Force. He served in Vietnam in 1969/1970 before returning to his home in California.
Donald was predeceased in death by his wife Joyce (nee Simar); survived by his children Bryan Bissell (Lisa), Sondra (late Dean) Finch and Thomas (Dawn) Bissell; grandchildren Valere (Andrew) Hardy, Jenna (Steven) Baird, Madeline Bissell, and Colin Bissell; great grandchildren Ellianna, and Briar.
A future service to be held at the WNY National Cemetery, Corfu, NY.
