This young female dog faces euthanisia due to harsh realities

In case you haven’t heard, we are in the midst of a unwanted pet crisis. Every major shelter is at full capacity. Pet adoptions were at record levels during the pandemic and now that humans aren’t staying home, pet surrenders and abandonment are now at record levels.

With every shelter full, the sad reality is that unwanted animals will be “put to sleep” at record levels and we hope to help avoid the last resort.

This beautiful female husky-mix is about 18 months old and according to some of the folks who have been caring for her, very pleasant and good with kids. Nancy is also very thin, due to her previous circumstances and her sad confinement to a public kennel.
