Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women to Host Fundraising Event

Alfred Station, NY, October 4, 2023 – The Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women (ACC FFW) announces its year-end fundraising campaign, including an in-person event on November 12th. Funds raised during this period will support the ACC FFW’s grant making activities in 2024, benefitting women seeking financial assistance for long-term financial health.  Since 2018, the ACC FFW has awarded more than $14,000 in grants to women across the three counties, helping them on their path toward sustained self-sufficiency.

Just in time for the holiday entertaining season, on November 12th, the ACC FFW will host an instructor-led charcuterie class at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center (WCAC), with all proceeds to benefit the Fund. Seating is reserved for the first 30 ticket holders.  Tickets may be purchased online:  https://www.accffw.org/shop.  All attendees will leave the class with a 9” charcuterie board that they make.  A raffle of items, donated by local artisans and businesses, will also take place. The class is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors:  Certified Safety Products of NY, Inc., Community Bank, N.A., Cunningham Stauring & Associates, Inc., and the WCAC.

Donations can be made directly to the ACC FFW via https://www.accffw.org/donate-now.  Donations to this Fund are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

About ACC-FFW:

The ACC-FFW, a volunteer led organization, was established in 2017 to combat poverty in the tri-county area by providing women the opportunity to seek financial assistance for long-term self-improvement, and by promoting philanthropy by and for women. The ACC FFW is a component fund of the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  Donations to this fund are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
