State Police: Wellsville man arrested on two felony charges after Andover burglary

NYSP arrest two women for violence in Andover

Troopers are asking for any information about a fatal collision in the town of Webster

Adam Satterlee, 44, of Wellsvile was charged with felony burglary and grand larceny after an August 18 incident in the town of Andover. Satterlee was reported held in the Allegany County Jail.

State Police also reported two women were arrested in the town of Andover for misdemeanor assault. A 27 year old from Lakeview NY and a 40 year old from East Concord NY were both charged with class A misdemeanors of Assault with the intent to cause physical injury. Both women were released for future court date.

On August 31, 2023, at approximately 1:19 a.m., the New York State Police in SP Rochester investigated a two-car fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on State Route 104 in the eastbound lanes near the Five Mile Line Rd exit in the town of Webster. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 61-year-old Darryl J. Brown was driving his 2022 Chevrolet Silverado truck the wrong way (westbound) in the eastbound lanes.  A 31-year-old Sampson O. Ofori was driving a 2008 Mercury Sable eastbound when the two vehicles collided head-on.  Ofori was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Brown was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction responded to assist at the scene. 

This is an active investigation.
